WHO IS JUICE WRLD

JUICE WRLD BIOGRAPHY

In his early life, Jarad Anthony Higgins, born on December 2, 1998, was brought up by an uptight, religious mother Carmella Wallace along with his older brother.

As a child, he was discouraged to listen to hip hop, but was allowed to listen to rock and pop music, which were available in video games he used to play.

At a young age, he was already heavily using drugs like the “purple drank”, and then on to percocet and xanax.

On the bright side, he also had already shown interest in music growing up and learned to play several instruments.

He started posting songs on Soundcloud in his sophomore year and at the same time being passionate about rapping. His first release on the platform was “Forever” as JuicetheKidd.

He caught more attention after the release of his debut EP “9 9 9” under the label “Internet Money” containing the song “Lucid Dreams” which made his popularity and followers skyrocket, as well as signing with Grade A Productions.

In fact, the song was later released as a single under Interscope Records with a music video, ranking 2nd in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and gaining multi-platinum status.

Along with “Lucid Dreams”, “All Girls Are The Same” is one of his first entries on a Billboard chart. Jarad was featured in “No Bystanders” by Travis Scott in 2018, went on tour with Nicki Minaj in 2019, and throughout that same year released several more singles, the last one being “Bandit” before he died of an overdose.

His third album “Legends Never Die” was released after his death, certified gold and topped the charts.
