Russ crowns ‘The Forever Story’ by JID as Album of the year!

Russ has always been outspoken in the hip-hop scene; he never shies away from giving his honest opinion, even when others dislike him for it. As a result, he has earned the respect of many rappers, as well as the criticism of some.

Russ is one of hip-hop's most hated rappers. Some people label him as a 'CORNY' rapper, the same tag that is attached to Logic.

But that aside, Russ still keeps it real he’s a person who can keep his ego aside and give honest, objective opinions on music. He recently tweeted that The Forever Story by JID is the Album of the year for him, and it’s not hard to see why. The album is a masterpiece; JID has made his mark with the release.

JID responded to Russ on Twitter, which was a very wholesome moment, especially on a platform where people constantly abuse each other.

Russ also revealed his song of the year, Kendrick Lamar’s Father Time, from the album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers!

Kdot’s new album came out after a long wait, and it wasn’t upto the mark that many people wanted it to be. It wasn’t a bad project by any means. Still, it also doesn’t reach the level his previous albums had reached, so it won’t be surprising to see JID winning AOTY at the Grammys.
