When will young Thug be released from jail

Jeffery Lamar Williams, famously known as Young Thug is an American songwriter, singer, and rapper from Atlanta, United States. He is one of the most influential hip-hop musicians of this generation. 

This 31-year-old rapper is in the industry since 2011. Since then, he gave many hit songs like Go crazy, solid, and bubbly and worked with other known influential people like Chris brow, Travis Scott, and Drake. And, it is no secret that he was arrested on May 9th, 2022.

The young thug was arrested on May 9th after a raid took place at his home in Georgia. There were claims that he possessed marijuana and had the intention to distribute it. They ripped his house to find that he also possessed illegal weapons and guns.

He was charged with being involved in illegal gang activities, involvement in murders, and multiple attempts to murder too. He was also accused of being involved with other rappers like Gunna who also have a history of illegal gang activities and drug deals. In short, he was charged for violating RICO which means Racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations act.

Later on, this turned out to be a big thing, and 28 members from his YSL label were also arrested for violating RICO.

After young Thug's arrest, his lawyer, Brain steel told the media that he is going to defend young thug as he is innocent and tried to get him released on a bond.

Recently, the jury accepted that Young Thug is innocent and did not violate RICO. But they did not let him out on a bond despite Brian’s attempts to prove Thug’s good character.

The Jury said that there are other claims on Young Thug that make everything look questionable and dismissed their request to send him out on a bond. Young Thug will remain in jail until his next trial which will be held on January 9th,  2023.
